Recap from the April meeting

Hello ladies –

Special thanks to Julia and Cynthia from TONIC – a public relations and marketing mix company for hosting our meeting on Monday. We had around 40 women in attendance for one of the biggest turnouts in a while. Thanks for providing the gin & tonics and vodka tonics, the pizza and the goodies from Outrageous Baking Co. Thank you as well to Teresa Robbins from Venus Di Miles for sharing information about the 2nd annual, Colorado’s first women’s only bike ride on August 30th. What a wonderful evening!

Next month we2e will celebrate our third year! Our May meeting with be on the 18th and will be hosted by Britta Ambauen at the Eldorado Art Center. Details to come.

In three years our email list has grown to around 215 Boulder based entrepreneurial women!

This list is separate from my monthly email list (which has around 215 contacts). Two Sole Sisters, hosted July’s meeting. Special thanks to Laurel & Lindsey for hosting! www.twosolesisters.com. We actually had a handful of new members and it was great to see everyone out in the summer heat!

Our next meeting is on Monday, August 18th at 6pm. It will be at 4580 Restaurant in North Boulder. The addresss is 4580 Broadway (next to Amante & Boulder Cycle Sport at the north end of town). More details on this meeting to come later this week.

The Nitty-Gritty:

• Makeover sessions are about to begin! We have nine confirmed makeover participants thus far.
  
• The New Year, New You Event is scheduled for Monday, January 14 at the St. Julien! Be there or be square!

Makeover Madness
We have confirmed with nine of our ten makeover participants and are excited to meet them at the January 14 event! We're in the process of getting we2e participants and community members linked up with makeover participants and getting the makeovers started, so check your voice mail or e-mail inbox for more information.

New Year, New You!
The New Year, New You kickoff event is scheduled for Monday, January 14 at 6:00 p.m. at the St. Julien! This event will feature cash bar, cocktails, conversation, and a chance to meet the makeover participants and learn more about we2e's NewYou 2008 Expo and sponsorship opportunities, so it's a can't miss for we2e members and anyone in the community who wants to get involved.
